Naturopathic Medicine
Frequently Asked Questions

Your guide to understanding natural, holistic care at Aniyah Care.

Naturopathic medicine is a holistic healthcare approach that blends modern medical science with natural therapies. It focuses on treating the
root cause of illness, not just the symptoms, using personalized care that supports the body’s innate healing ability. Therapies may include clinical nutrition, herbal medicine, acupuncture, lifestyle counseling, and more.

Our Naturopathic Doctors support patients with a wide range of acute and chronic concerns, including:
  • Digestive issues (IBS, bloating, constipation)
  • Hormonal imbalances (PMS, PCOS, menopause, thyroid)
  • Migraines and chronic headaches
  • Anxiety, stress, and mood imbalances
  • Fatigue and burnout
  • Allergies and skin conditions (eczema, acne)
  • Immune system dysfunction
  • Fertility and preconception care

Your initial consultation is 60–90 minutes and includes a comprehensive health assessment. Your ND will review your health history, current concerns, lifestyle habits, and any recent lab work. From there, you’ll receive a personalized treatment plan to support your health goals.

While OHIP does not cover naturopathic care, many extended health insurance plans do. We recommend checking with your provider to confirm your coverage for naturopathic visits, lab testing, and treatments.

No referral is needed! You can book directly with us through our website or by calling the clinic.
