Postpartum bladder leaks, pelvic pressure, and core weakness are incredibly common, but common does not mean you have to live with them. Many new mothers spend months or years managing these symptoms in silence, assuming they are the unavoidable cost of motherhood.
They are not. These are real, recognized, and highly treatable conditions. At Aniyah Care, we have designed a program specifically for mothers who want to feel like themselves again, gently, privately, and at their own pace.
During pregnancy, the pelvic floor muscles bear the growing weight of the uterus and baby for months. Hormonal changes, particularly the hormone relaxin, simultaneously loosen connective tissue, reducing structural support. During vaginal delivery, the pelvic floor stretches significantly. During a cesarean birth, the abdominal and pelvic structures are still profoundly affected by both the surgery and the months of pregnancy load.
Research indicates that following childbirth, the deep stabilizing muscles of the pelvic floor and core, including the transversus abdominis and deep multifidus, may not return to normal activation spontaneously, even once early recovery is complete. Without targeted rehabilitation, postpartum pelvic dysfunction can persist for years, increasing the risk of worsening incontinence, prolapse, and chronic pelvic pain.
Every mother’s body is different. At Aniyah Care, we offer two evidence-informed treatment options that can be used individually or in combination, depending on your symptoms, preferences, and goals.

This depends on your individual recovery and type of delivery. We can assess and discuss a plan from a few weeks postpartum — even before active treatment begins. Your care team will confirm timing at your free consultation. There is no pressure to start until you feel ready.
Absolutely. Caesarean birth still significantly affects the pelvic floor, core muscles, and abdominal structures. Many C-section mothers experience core weakness, bladder issues, and scar tissue complications that respond very well to targeted treatment.
Breastfeeding mothers can generally receive Freedom+ treatment. Our team will review your full health history at consultation to confirm your eligibility and any adjustments to the treatment plan.
A typical course is 4–6 sessions spaced a few days apart, followed by a maintenance session at six months. Your care team will recommend a personalised plan based on your symptoms and goals after your initial assessment.
In most cases, no referral is required. You can contact us directly to book. If you have been referred by your care provider, we are happy to coordinate.
